Is All Right, a new CD by Bob Livingston & Friends, is now available! All proceeds go to benefit the KPM Institute and Sri Atmananda Memorial School. Longtime Austin musician, Bob Livingston http://www.TexasMusic.org,
has played with many of Texas' more colorful musicians including Jerry Jeff Walker and Michael Martin Murphey. Livingston is also well known in Texas schools for his Cowboys & Indians http://www.TexasMusic.org/cowboys_indians.html show sponsored by the Texas Commission on the Arts. He recorded these 10 songs in the Mansion at 4100 Red River. The CD includes a recording of the School song, Look To This Day, with a group of Sri Atmananda Memorial School kids singing along.

Liner Notes from Everything Is All Right
Not long ago, someone requested that I make a new CD out of some of the songs I had written while I was living in the village of Malakara, India with my family: Iris, Tucker and Trevor. The request went home and I started working on the project, but there were stops and starts and time went by. What got me going again was the idea to use the CD to help support a wonderful school here in Austin - Sri Atmananda Memorial School (SAMS). There is a plaque on the front of the School in India and the School in Austin that is the basis for the KPM Approach to Children founded by Sri K. Padmanabha Menon:

We decided to record in the beautiful historic mansion on the grounds of the KPM Institute; the atmosphere there is uplifting and the acoustics are perfect. My friend, Robbie Gjersoe, brought in some recording equipment and we set up the big room of the mansion. John Inmon, Tucker and I sat in a circle and started singing and Robbie got it all down. We recorded ten songs including some I wrote with Reade Wood and Trevor and John's Everywhere I Go. On the final day of recording, we invited some of the students of the school to sing with us on Look To This Day, the School song Iris and I wrote. It's been great fun to put this project together and I hope you like the result. All the proceeds will go to SAMS.
